What is the Tacoma Halloween Parade?

A public all-ages parade and festival including spooky vendors, food trucks and community booths as well as a stage featuring local performers. Many more fun items are planned as well which will be announced as finalized. We will be celebrating all things related to Halloween while supporting local business and culture.

 

Is the event free to attend?

YES - however, vendors, community booths and parade participants have fees to participate.

 

Is the event all ages?

YES - however, this is a Halloween themed event and some have varying levels of what is too scary and what is not. All participants have been advised no excessive gore or nudity is accepted.

Where are my sponsorship dollars going?

With the funds we raise we will be able to pay for city permits, security, rentals, entertainment and all of the little details that will make this festival a success!

Do you need volunteers?

Absolutely! Please email us at tacomahalloweenparade@gmail.com and we will talk about how you can help!

 

PARADE

 

How do I sign up to be in the parade?

Participant application must be filled out here.

 

will I know if I am approved?

Once approved an email will be sent by October 10th

 

Why is there a $50 participation fee?

covering essential expenses such as security, logistics, and coordination efforts to ensure a safe and unforgettable experience for our community.

 

Can I have more than one vehicle and what are the dimensions I’m allowed?

If you have more than one vehicle or your float is extensive we reserve the right to charge an increased fee. We will reach out on an individual basis.

 

Do I need insurance?

If you are bringing a motorized vehicle with you, you will be asked to provide proof of insurance

 

Can I hand out candy during the parade?

You may bring UNOPENED bags of store-bought candy. Our volunteers will check the bags are sealed and record what you are bringing in for safety purposes. Please do not bring anything other than candy.

What kind of vendors can we expect?

We are striving to create a spooky theme, and carefully selecting all participants that fit those vibes!
